Frederick Turner is a proud graduate of Howard University’s John H. Johnson School of Communications. In 2010 Frederick received his Master’s of Education in Communication Sciences and Disorders with a concentration in Speech-Language Pathology with Magna Cum Laude honors from North Carolina Central University. Frederick has over 8 years of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist. He has worked with a wide range of patient diagnosis, from head and neck cancer at University of North Carolina Chapel Hill Head and Neck Cancer Clinic, Traumatic Brain Injury patients at UPMC Outpatient Clinic, Lead speech Pathologist of voice clinic performing videostroboscopy at Beaumont Farmington Hospital. Frederick has worked in several acute care settings at Beaumont Dearborn, Detroit Medical Center’s Huron Valley, Sinai Grace, Receiving and Harper Hutzel which are level 1 Trauma Hospital serving the metro-Detroit population. He has also worked with LTACH patients at Vibra Healthcare Detroit Medical Center Campus, Skilled Nursing facilities as well as 7 years experience in Home Healthcare. Frederick has received extensive training in FEES examinations and over 4 years of experience with instrumentation.
